Jesus calls us His beloved….

Jesus calls us His beloved….

Deut. 33:12…

“The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he hall dwell between his shoulders.”

And in Psalm 127:2 “…He giveth His beloved sleep.”

Jere. 12:7 refers to …”the dearly beloved of my soul”.

There not anything that we need to fear, because as born again believers in Jesus Christ, we can trust all things into His hands.

He always has His eye on us….we are “the apple of His eye”.

Deut. 32:10 says, “He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.”

We are His beloved and His thoughts are towards us.

Psalm 139:17 says…”How precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them.  If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand…”

Isa 43:19 “I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

Isa. 43:20b & 21 says, “I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; They shall show forth my praise.”

Isa. 42:6 says …”I have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee…”

A very old Hymn,  “All for Jesus” says…

“All for Jesus, All for Jesus!

All my being’s ransomed powers:

All my thoughts and words and doings,

All my days and all my hours.

Let my hands perform His bidding

Let my feet run in His ways;

Let my eyes see Jesus only,

Let my lips speak forth His praise.

Worldlings prize their gems of beauty,

Cling to gilded toys of dust,

Boast of wealth and fame and pleasure;

Only Jesus will I trust.

Since my eyes were fixed on Jesus,

I’ve lost sight of all beside;

So enchanted my spirit’s vision,

Looking at the Crucified.

Oh, what wonder! How amazing!

Jesus, glorious King of Kings,

Deigns to call me His beloved,

Lets me rest beneath His wings.

May we walk in peace in the presence of this Holy, Precious Lord.
